Former Chief Kadhi Hamad Kassim has asked Kenyans to elect visionary leaders in next year's elections.

Sheikh Kassim said it would be pointless for the electorate to vote for leaders who care less about the future and development of the country.

Speaking in Mombasa yesterday, he said poor leadership was to blame for the escalating insecurity and runaway corruption in the country.
