Grapevine: National Youth Service tenderpreneurs are back to minting billions

NAIROBI, KENYA; There are reports that a powerful cartel which involved in some questionable deals in National Youth Service some years back has found its way in two key ministries.

There are whispers that some officials in the ministry of Special programes and Education have conspired with one tycoon whose multiple companies are tenders worth billions at the expense of other traders.

So brazen are some of the officials whose companies are run by proxies that they have ignored orders to float tenders for some consumable products such as beans so that they can allocate themselves the tenders.

Grapevine has heard that some suppliers are even using fake documents  to rake in billions in the lucrative deals.
