Sarova Hotels is offering private working spaces for day and night rentals at one of its establishments in Nairobi as it moves to shore up revenues in the wake of the Covid-19 pandemic.

Managing Director Jimi Kariuki said they have repurposed 80 of their rooms at the Sarova Panafric in the capital for individual business executives and for companies to use as private office spaces.

‘’With the new normal of working from home and social distancing, we saw an opportunity to repurpose the guest rooms to support market need where business executives and companies can book rooms in the hotel to use as a private workspace for the day or longer,’’ said Kariuki.

He said the hotel offers room service and wi-fi, among other services.

The rooms range from standard to executive.

One can book a standard room at Sh7,500 from 8am to 7pm, and choose to extend overnight by paying Sh12,000.

For the executive rooms, one will have to part with Sh19,500 from 8am to 7pm and pay Sh25,000 for an overnight stay.
