Four ways to treat weak and brittle nails at home

Many nail salons around the country are currently on lockdown in order to prevent the spread of Coronavirus. We’ve all been advised to stay indoors and practise good personal hygiene by washing our hands frequently and using an alcohol rub whenever we don’t have access to soap and water. 

Now that most of us are washing our hands more frequently throughout the day, constant exposure to water and alcohol in hand sanitizers can weaken nails. The current lockdown and self-isolation period are indefinite, so we don’t know how long it will be before our nails go from a brittle peeling mess to looking fabulous and feeling strong again.
