Agri Experience has unveiled a new online tool that allows farmers, agro-dealers and extension workers to easily learn and access information. This comes at a time when farmers have been struggling to obtain varieties of popular crops such as maize, pigeon peas and cassava that suit certain local growing conditions and farmer preferences - such as disease resistance or cooking properties.
This announcement follows a recent launch of MbeguChoice. MbeguChoice was developed in partnership with the Kenya Agricultural and Livestock Research Organisation (KALRO), the Kenya Plant Health Inspectorate Service (KEPHIS) and Kenyan crop seed companies, with support from Kenya Markets Trust.
