Samsung launches 4G enabled tablet In Kenya

Samsung Electronics East Africa has unveiled a 4G-enabled mid-range tablet dubbed Galaxy Tab A.The all-new Galaxy Tab A offers outstanding performance, classy features and a more comfortable viewing experience.

In addition, the new tab comes with an enhanced S-pen that will give users a realistic handwriting/drawing experience for a more convenient way to stay creative and productive on the go. Samsung Electronics East Africa Vice President and Chief Operating Officer Robert Ngeru said the innovation is driven by the market needs.

"Currently, most entrepreneurs are doing business on the move and with such a tablet you will be able to multi-task and have efficiency. On the other hand, the integration of digital learning into institutions creates an opportunity for affordable, energy-efficient and cloud storage-enabled gadgets like the Galaxy Tab A," he added.

Samsung's Tab 4 series has been well received in the Kenyan market and now they are focusing on mid-high tier tablets to boost growth.

"The technology needs of tablet users are evolving," said Mr Ngeru.
