Shoppers to win big in Sarit Centre, ‘Standard’ promotion

Customers who shop at The Sarit Centre will win big in promotions, following a pact between The Standard Group and the shopping mall. The promotion dubbed ‘Scratch & Win Shopping Promotion’ will see shoppers win KIA Rio saloon automatic cars, 55 inch LG Tvs, and WestPoint  freezers, among 50 other prizes.

The promotion will involve scratch cards that would bear different winning combination symbols, and will be issued to customers spending Sh1,000 or more at the shopping mall.

This comes at a time when The Sarit Centre, one of largest shopping malls in East Africa and the first ever-enclosed shopping mall, is celebrating its 30th Christmas this year.

The Standard Group Chief Executive Officer Sam Shollei said at the signing of the pact at the Standard Group Centre on Mombasa Road that the media house has had a cordial and good relationship with the shopping mall.

“At a time like this going into the Christmas season, Kenyans want more value and therefore this promotion will give them an opportunity to meet these needs,” he said.

He added that the Group, through its numerous media outlets, will lend its support to The Sarit Centre in running the promotion.

Nitin Shah, chief operating officer at Sarit Centre,  said the success in the past 30 years in business has been hinged on promotions.  “We realised that most of our customers know us through The Standard Group media platforms. Sarit Centre has continuously held its position as the premier shopping centre and through this promotion, which comes with the festive season.”

“We will rewarding ardent customers who will be using our facility in this season. If any customer will have collected 50 cards but haven’t won, they will be awarded on presenting the tickets.”

Sarit Centre shopping mall provides its customers with exhibition facilities, spaces for organisations’ launches, and shopping stores, which make it a one-stop-shop for household needs.
