Moi’s peace meeting postponed

A peace public rally scheduled for Saturday and which was to be addressed by former President Moi has been postponed. A statement from the former President’s Press Secretary Lee Njiru said it would be held at a later date. The meeting was to be held in Nakuru in an effort to reconcile different communities living in the Rift Valley Province. The former Head of State has been at the forefront in trying to bury ethnic differences that led to post-election violence. Moi has urged the communities to live together in peace.
