More than 3,500 squatters were on Saturday forcefully evicted and property worth millions of shillings destroyed in Voi town, Taita Taveta County.
The eviction was done by a Mombasa-based firm, Sparkle Properties Limited, under tight security, after it won a case against the squatters in October last year.
