Former President Uhuru Kenyatta's presidency was accidental as leadership was forced down his throat, following two dodged attempts to thrust the presidential ticket to Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka and Musalia Mudavadi in just one day.

After being named as an International Criminal Court (ICC) suspect alongside five others, in December 2010, Uhuru's political career seemed to have crumbled and he was trying to evade the presidency.
