Ruto kicks out more Uhuru appointees from plum jobs

President William Ruto has embarked on a purge of former President Uhuru Kenyatta's allies in his recent changes to State corporations.

In the changes captured in a gazette notice released yesterday, Ruto revoked the appointment of Agnes Pareiyo as chairperson of the Anti-Female Genital Mutilation (FGM) Board and replaced her with Surum Korema, who will serve for six years.
