Authorities in Bomet County are looking for a police officer who was caught on tape stealing items belonging to examination invigilators.

The said-incident occurred at a secondary school in Konoin Sub-County on Monday, December 5.

The suspect, who is at large, was on Monday caught on CCTV cameras ransacking the bags of three female KCSE exam invigilators before taking some of their items.

The incident occurred inside the school principal's office at 12:32pm.

The victims said they had lost a total of Sh1,300, with one of them losing Sh900 .

"Upon returning to where they had left their handbags, the three invigilators discovered that cash and personal items were missing from their bags, prompting the school principal to review the CCTV recordings.
