Lawmakers affiliated with the Kenya Kwanza Alliance have hatched a plot to save a Cabinet nominee rejected by the National Assembly's Committee on Appointments.
The MPs want to amend the recommendation to reject Tourism Cabinet Secretary nominee Peninah Malonza. During a debate of the report in Parliament yesterday afternoon, Endebess MP Robert Pukose said he would table an amendment to delete the recommendation, saying the committee had been unfair to Ms Malonza.
