Green Thinking Action Party is not seeking to amass elective numbers, but quality life for all Kenyans during this year's General Election, party leader Isaac Kalua has said.

Addressing the media at Unyaa Primary School soon after casting his vote, Kalua said his party's focus was to ensure the government elected into power implements his party manifesto.

He said top on their agenda is fair distribution of power and resources and where elected leaders are accountable to the electorate.

"As GTAP, we are not looking for numbers but for an agenda that will propel this country in terms of growth and development," he said.

The environmentalist said the next government should involve citizens in governance where public opinion is key.

"As we move towards the next government, Kenyans are yearning for leadership committed to serving them. That should be the bare minimum for Kenyans," he added.

Kalua noted that the size of the party does not matter, saying what matters is what the party is doing for the people.

He urged the government to adopt strategic environmental policies that would cushion citizens from the effects of climate change.

He urged contesting candidates who lose in the elections to accept the outcome, saying IEBC is competent to deliver a free and fair election.
