Roman Reigns last night defeated Brock Lesnar in the 'Biggest WrestleMania match of all time' to be crowned the undisputed champion.

Reigns and Lesnar lived up to the hype, each delivering powerful blows to one another from the start.

Following multiple spears Reigns was able to put Lesnar down and win by pinfall giving him the status as the top star of the company. Reigns’ victory did not come without assistance from Paul Heyman, who interfered throughout.

Reigns, 36, struggled to lift the WWE and Universal Championships following his win, but appeared fine while celebrating on the entrance ramp as the show went off the air.

Injury update

Reigns may have suffered an injury at the end of WrestleMania 38.

As seen in the photos below, Reigns’ arm appeared to be swollen during the final stages of his main event bout against Brock Lesnar.

Lesnar also appeared to be struggling with a rib injury for much of the contest following a Spear by Reigns.

Lesnar made his long-awaited return to WWE after more than a year away at SummerSlam in August.

The 44 year-old immediately set his sights on Reigns and the universal title, and it wasn't long before he was granted a championship match.

Reigns is now WWE's undisputed champion, and it is possible his win over Lesnar signaled the official ending of the brand split.

Sunday marked the third time Reigns and Lesnar headlined WrestleMania against each other
