Ladies, when it comes to clothes and shoes, you should prioritize quality over quantity

I know I am going to get a lot of flak for this, but it needs to be said: thrifting clothes is for cash-strapped teenagers and the occasional struggling college kids who don’t particularly care about and can get away with wearing poor quality clothes.  Any self-respecting woman over the age of twenty-four should know better. I did my fair share of thrift shopping in my late teens and early twenties. However, I wouldn’t be caught dead in thrifted, second-hand clothes now because of two reasons: First of all, more often than not, the clothes are worn and in poor condition. Secondly and most importantly, thrifting clothes is more trouble than it is worth. If I only had a thousand shillings to spend on clothes, I would spend it on one item of good quality clothing rather than ten tacky, cheap items of clothing.
