Covid-19 nurse tests negative after spending eight days in the ICU

A 32-year-old nurse from Rachuonyo Sub-County in Homabay who had tested positive for the coronavirus and who gave given birth to a baby boy while under the Intensive Care Unit at Kisii Teaching and Referral Hospital Isolation Centre has recovered.

Her baby who was put in incubation on Friday night has also tested negative. The two will now wait for the second confirmatory testing before they are discharged from the hospital.
