The nominee for the position of County Public Service Board chairperson, Alfred Mlolwa, has said he will curb bribery and nepotism in the appointment and promotion of county staff if he gets the position.
Mr Mlolwa said he would obey the law on recruitment and ensure regional balance in the public service. “It is unfortunate for someone to miss out on a promotion due to bribery. The new board will be vigilant on the issue. We will be fair in promotion and we will stand by the rule of law,” he told the House vetting committee chaired by Speaker Meshack Maganga (pictured) yesterday.
Mlolwa is a teacher by profession.
