Maribe denies dating Eric Omondi

Former Citizen TV news anchor Jacque Maribe has made it clear that she is not dating comedian Eric Omondi.

Just a few days after Maribe shared a photo of the son she had with Omondi, Kenyans online put pressure on her to declare her stand and she did exactly that.

One netizen asked Maribe to come clean on whom she was going out with since she has been seen with Dennis Itumbi, Jowie and Omondi at different times.

“… Mara sijui Jowie, mara Itumbi, sahii ni joker anaitwa Eric. I mean where does she lie? Tangaza standing madam!” Danny posted.

“Stop confusing us,” wrote another Instagram user.

In response, Maribe wrote: “@Dannydunhillison nilitangaza hukuona. Niko single AF. Those are my friends.”

Last week, Maribe uploaded a photo in the company of Omondi and their son Zahari captioned:

“Family first. Happy graduation day Zahari. We, mum and dad @ericomondi are proud of you!!”

The ex-TV queen has never revealed the face of her son on social media but has always shared his photos hiding his face.

The comedian was the first one to share the photo but did not caption it and immediately stirred mixed reactions from his fans.

For a long time, it was only rumoured that Eric had fathered Zahari, something they both have never talked about openly.

At one time, the comedian admitted to have dated the former news anchor but could not divulge further into details of their relationship.

Dennis Itumbi, who one time was rumored to be Zahari’s father, was quick to congratulate the two.

“Congratulations -The Omondi’s. Zahari’s graduation is a great statement of your solid guidance. May your bond last for an eternity and more. To both of you my friends, God’s blessings! Bishop na pia president walisema, ‘Wanaosema, wacha waseme!’ Au sio?” he said.
