Nairobi, Kenya:  The National Police Service says the type of armoured personnel carriers acquired from China cannot withstand a rocket-propelled grenade (RPG) attack.

Spokesman Charles Owino said they are however equipped with Mine Resistant Ambush (MRAP)  armour which can resist bomb attack.
