Waititu vows to secure release of over 2000 Kiambu youths rotting in jail

Two days after leaving Industrial Area Remand Prison, Kiambu Governor Ferdinand Waititu has claimed that he saw over 2000 youths from Kiambu rotting in the facilty.

Waititu said most of the youths are in remand over petty offences and small fines and vowed to make sure they are released from jail beginning next week.
