I taught Esther Arunga how to pronounce words correctly — Jazz musician Joseph Hellon

Jazz musician Joseph Onyango Omondi Hellon on Tuesday sensationally claimed that he taught former news anchor Esther Arunga how to pronounce words correctly.

Speaking during an interview with Ken Mijungu, Hellon stated that he was Arunga’s advisor when she was high-flying, adding that he also gave her tips on proper dressing.

“Esther lived in my house for one whole year, I gave her advice, helped her with accent, how to pronounce words correctly and how to dress the right way.

“I even helped her with weight loss since those days they wanted skinny news anchors,” said the co-founder of the Placenta Party.

Asked why he did not advise Arunga against her union with Quincy Timberlake, Hellon said the former TV queen was stubborn.

Adding that even his wife advised her against Timberlake.

“Esther was a stubborn person if she took a certain angle in a matter it became very difficult to turn her around,” he said.

Adding that he never approved of their relationship.

“At no given time did I ever match make Esther and Quincy and at no given time have I ever supported the relationship.

“I gave Quincy advice and I gave Esther Advice but they did not take it,” he remarked.

Arunga is facing charges in an Australian court after admitting that she lied about the circumstances in which their three-year-old son Sinclair Timberlake died on June 2014.

According to police, Timberlake is alleged to have assaulted Sinclair and the boy did not die as a result of a fall as earlier reported by the two.
