All Africa Games Zone Five champions Kenya laboured to beat Uganda 3-2 (22-25, 25-21, 25-21, 15-12) in a thrilling AAG qualifying tournament match at the Kasarani Gymnasium yesterday.

General Service Unit left attacker Nicholas Matui saved Kenya’s blushes with his powerful spikes that helped the hosts claim the fifth set.
