Woman, 25, shove elderly man off bus so hard it killed him

**Cadesha Michelle Bishop faces a murder charge for the shove, US media reports.**

Harrowing footage has been released by police showing a 74-year-old man being shoved off a bus so hard he eventually died.

Serge Fournier was reportedly telling a fellow passenger on the bus to be politer to others when he was pushed by a woman, landing head first on the pavement.

The woman, Cadesha Michelle Bishop, is facing a murder charge for the fatal shove on March 21 this year in Las Vegas.

On April 23 his death was ruled as a homicide by the county coroner. He had clung on severely injured in hospital for a month before succumbing to his injuries.

Bishop was arrested Monday on a murder warrant and was assigned a public defence attorney during her first court appearance on Tuesday.

A judge ordered Bishop, 25, held on $100,000 bail pending a preliminary hearing of evidence May 21.

A police report says Fournier was moving up the aisle of the Regional Transportation Commission bus when he asked a woman who had been cursing at other people to be nicer to passengers, the Las Vegas Review-Journal reported.

Bishop was accused of shoving Fournier out the door 'with enough force that he never touched any of the steps' before hitting his head about 8 feet (2.4 meters) from the bus.

Fournier spent a month in the hospital before he succumbed to his injuries, KSNV reports.

Trevor Taylor, a neighbour to Mr Fournier, said: "No matter what his age, she should not have done that. People need a little more patience than what they have these days."

Mr Taylor asserted that Fournier was a 'wonderful person' and shared that he would never forget his friend.

"He was an excellent neighbor. Very nice, religious person," he added.
