Jubilee’s school laptop project has flopped, says House committee

Primary schools across the country are yet to fully achieve objectives of the government’s Sh30 billion Digital Learning Program (DLP) despite the distribution of tablets.

The joint committee of the National Assembly and the Senate on ICT and Education Friday said the aspirations of the programme are yet to be achieved. The team expressed fear that the facilities supplied to Standard One pupils may be gathering dust in schools.
