NAIROBI, KENYA: President Uhuru Kenyatta has applauded China’s readiness to open its market to Kenyan products.
Kenyatta who is in Beijing for the Second Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation (BRI) yesterday signed a deal with President Jinping Xi to allow Kenyan farmers to export hass avocados to China. Kenya now becomes the first African nation to be allowed to export avocados to the Asian nation.
