One of Kenya’s iconic and most consistent artiste, Nameless has released a remix to the song that started it all, Megarider. The new jam, which dropped on yesternight features Khaligraph Jones, a leading hip-hop star and award-winner who is part of the new breed of artistes taking the game by the storm.
Megarider, which Nameless sang over the phone to win a radio talent show on Capital FM, was all about the daily life of a university student trying to get by. The song was produced by Tedd Josiah, who was by then a big name as a sound engineer, the man behind Hardstone and Kalamashaka. The new jam dropped on the 20th anniversary of Nameless’ stay in the game, which has produced hits like Boomba Train with the late E-Sir, Ninanoki with Amani, and current jams like Inspire, Voloyoom and Your Lover.
