Ethiopian Airlines praises pilots of crashed jet

Investigators combing through the remains of the crashed Ethiopian jet.

In a preliminary report, Ethiopian Airlines has praised the perished pilots of Flight 302  that killed all its passengers and crew shortly after takeoff from Addis Ababa three weeks ago.

“We are proud of our pilot's compliance to follow the emergency procedures and high level of professionalism in such an extremely difficult situation.” Reads part of the statement.

The preliminary report indicates that the Ethiopian airline pilots commanding flight 302 followed Boeing recommendations and Federal Aviation Authority approved procedures but were unable to control the flight

There have been claims that the pilots of the crashed flight 302  had not attended refresher training on the operations of  Boeing 737 Max 8, the plane that crashed.

The Ethiopian Airline having dismissed those allegations, the released reports will seemingly shift the burden of the cause of the accident to the Boeing Company.

Data obtained from the investigation shows significant similarities between the crash and the Lion Air crash in October 2018.

The details of the preliminary report also indicate that the Boeing's anti-stall software forced down the nose of the doomed Ethiopian jet, despite the fact that the pilots had switched it off.

The fact that all passengers and cabin crew lost their lives, the group continued to express its sympathy and condolences to the family and relatives, saying it was still in deep mourning.

The Ethiopian Boeing 737 Max 8, flight 302 jet crashed just after take-off from the Ethiopian capital Addis Ababa on March 10, killing all 157 passengers and crew on board.
