Impeached Homa Bay Speaker Elizabeth Ayoo now wants four people to be cited for contempt of court.

Among the people that she wants charged include two MCAs, the sergeant at arms as well as the chairperson of the Assembly Service Board.

Her lawyer, David Otieno, told Justice Nduma Nderi that the four have frustrated her efforts to discharge her duties as ordered earlier by the court.

Otieno said the four should be charged alongside acting clerk Daniel Kaudo whom the impeached speaker wants jailed for six months as she continues to legally fight for her job.

The matter is to be heard on March 7.
