Fraudsters have conned squatters of millions of shillings by promising them Government land.
County Lands Executive Susan Murumba has warned residents against falling victim to the scam. “We have bogus groups operating in the county targeting desperate squatters, pretending that they are in a position to influence land distribution in exchange for money. I am warning residents that there is no free land for allocation,” said Ms Murumba.
