Yaya Toure is a Manchester City legend, someone the club paid big bucks to spearhead them to unprecedented success.

But it's fair to say he left under a cloud.

The Ivorian midfielder made a string of allegations before he left in an attempt to 'bust the myth' of his former manager at Barcelona and Manchester City , Pep Guardiola.

Toure left the Etihad following eight years at the club and believes Guardiola undervalued him during his final two years at the club. and accused the manager of having an agenda against African players.

Of course the player's agent Dimitry Seluk weighed in, suggesting that he will never win the Champions League again because of his poor treatment of Toure.

"He turned all Africa against himself, many African fans turned away from Manchester City. And I'm sure that many African shamans in the future will not allow Guardiola to win the Champions League," he said in June.

"This will be for Guardiola an African curse. Life will show whether I am right or not."

And he's followed up on his words. As Manchester City crashed to an embarrassing 2-1 home defeat Lyon, Seluk posted a picture of a Witch Doctor sticking pins into Guardiola.

In the bubble was Guardiola's backside hurting all the way in Manchester. Above it he simply had the score line.

Fans predictably blasted him for it, even calling it racist, but Seluk was unrepentant with the post still up hours later.

One social media user pointed out: "You just know he had the tweet saved from the start of the season until we lose one."

Others were harsher saying: "Racist much?" as he was using African stereotypes.

And there's also the small fact that Guardiola wasn't even in charge that night - Mikel Arteta was on the touchline with the Spaniard serving a one-match ban.

Yes, it was probably ill judged and in poor taste. But as another commenter pointed out, maybe Seluk's having the last laugh...
