Kenyans appeal for justice after student abducted alongside NMG reporter was found dead

Kenyans have taken to social media to appeal for the justice of Sharon Otieno, a second year student at Rongo University whose body was found dead and dumped in Kodera Forest, Homa Bay County.

Sharon, who was kidnapped alongside Nation Reporter Barrack Oduor, was also pregnant according to medical reports.

Speaking to Nation, Sharon’s father Douglas Otieno confirmed his daughter’s body at the Oyugis Level Four Hospital in Oyugis.

Mr Oduor said that he was investigating a love gone sour between Sharon and a prominent Governor when the incident happened.

Both Sharon and Oduor were kidnaped after they were lured out of Graca Hotel in Rongo.

The journalist was seriously injured after he jumped out of the speeding vehicle to escape from the kidnapers.

Here’s how Kenyans reacted to the death of Sharon;

Sharon Otieno has been sent to her early grave on orders from Governor Okoth Obado. Sharon was pregnant, meaning two lives lost! Another time for hash tags like #JusticeForSharon ,make arrests, release on bail and life goes on!— Lloyd Onyango (@lloydOnyango) September 5, 2018

Where is George Kinoti and DPP Noordin Haji in this Sharon Otieno murder? Where are these two gentlemen in the attempted murder of Idriss Mukhtar and the ultimate cover-up murder of Mwai? Justice must be the shield and defender for all Kenyans equally!

Law in Kenya was made for the poor. The high and the mighty get a free pass with anything. After stealing everything they run the streets. Kill anyone. Sleep with anyone. Grab anything. And travel anywhere. Kodera Forest Sharon Otieno— L????????ROY (@_DavidLeRoy_) September 5, 2018

Sharon Otieno we should know what happened to her people shouldnt be killed left right and centre if we dont have laws in this country @DCI_Kenya @NPSOfficial_KE @ODPP_KE please do something— Kemboi Justin™ (@kemboijustinn) September 5, 2018

Just how dangerous was Sharon Otieno to deserve death? Whoever did that must NEVER be forgiven both on EARTH and HEAVEN. God doesn't allow anyone to Kill another.

The murder of Sharon Otieno is as grotesque as worst can be. Mr. Oyamo who handed them over to killer gang needs to be handed a death sentence in equal measure. Barrack Oduor shld record a quick video on why they were abducted & who wanted them dead, & he must secured. pic.twitter.com/6wUDrkrvFm— O S I A N Y® ???????? (@DavidOsiany) September 5, 2018

Who would want to abduct & hurt a pregnant student "Sharon Otieno" other than the one who impregnated her? We need strict law against human threats to life & without questions, culprits should get a death penalty after serving a good term in jail. Arrest gov. Okoth Obado
