Michael Olunga scores fantastic goal on his debut

Michael Olunga marked his first appearance for Kashiwa Reysol with a bang after scoring in a memorable 5-1 win against Varen Nagasaki at Kashiwa stadium.

Varen took the lead via a Suzuki a shot in the 11th minute before Junya’s goal and a brace from Christiano da Silva put Kashiwa Reysol three up with Kohei adding a fourth in the second half.

In the 69th minute, Olunga came off the bench and made an impact late in the second half, smashing his shot into the back of the net after receiving a pass from team-mate Masashi Kamekawa.

Following the extraordinary performance, Olunga took to Facebook to thank God: “God’s grace is immeasurable, His mercy is inexhaustible, His peace is inexpressible”
