Popular comedian Njugush lands new TV job

Celebrated Kenyan comedian Timothy Kimani aka Njugush has landed a new deal as a television host.

Njugush will now be hosting a business show dubbed Biashara Mtaani on Fanaka TV.

Former Citizen TV’s business anchor Terryanne Chebet is the CEO of Fanaka.

The witty comedian broke the good news on social media sending users into a frenzy.

“It's a deal!!!!!!!!!! Excited about this one. @fanakadigital tunakam kucheki biashara mtaani !!!!!!!!! @terryannechebet,” Njugush posted on his Insatgram page.

“We are currently shooting the show but the release date will be announced later,” he told a local daily.

Chebet announced on Friday that he would engage Njugush on the show.

“Because business is fun, and can be funny! #Biasharamtaani with @blessednjugush Coming soon on Fanaka TV,” said Chebet.

Fanaka is accessible on digital TV on the PANG network.

Njugush, a first born in a family of two children, his roles became fast defined as he was growing up because he had to take care of his younger sibling.

Positively so, this made him quite responsible, a trait which he practices to date even while on set.

He admitted in past interviews that it was never an easy road in school as he had to attend many primary schools, sitting his KCPE at Kandengwa Primary School, then his secondary education at Naaro High school.

His passion for the arts and media saw him pursue a degree in journalism at the KIMC College during which he joined a play dubbed ‘Quagmire Royal’.

Little did he know this would be his key to the acting industry.
