Most people assume that women wear wigs and weaves because they do not love or appreciate natural hair.

Experts opine that women wear wigs and weaves to protect natural hair and stress that not every woman in a wig is bald or has bad hair underneath.

Wearing a wig or weave gives natural hair a break from daily maintenance routines that may cause damage and weaken the hair such as heat, breakages and chemicals.
