A man killed his cousin over Sh5,000. High Court judge Francis Gikonyo heard that Martin Mutuma stabbed Jude Kirimi at Munandene shopping centre in Giaki area, Imenti North District, Meru County on February 28, 2015, following a quarrel over Sh5,000 the former had paid police to have the latter released after an arrest.
Alex Muthomi, a kin, told court Kirimi rushed home and returned with a weapon after the two were thrown out of a pub for quarreling.
