Residents of Murang’a have requested the family of the late veteran politician Kenneth Matiba to bury him there.

Led by retired Catholic Priest Joakim Gitonga and nominated MCA Stephen Chege, they pleaded with the family that the deceased be buried at his Embassy home.

Speaking separately, they said Matiba was connected with Murang’a.

“We humbly ask the family to declare Kiharu as his burial site,” said Fr Gitonga.
