Zlantan Ibrahimovic, arguably one of the best nomadic strikers in the football world has finally part ways with Manchester United after the Red Devils agreed to terminate his contract early.

The Swede signed for USA based team LA Galaxy on a free transfer on Friday.

The 36-year-old joined United on a free transfer from PSG in the summer transfer window in 2016 and made a great impact for United scoring 28 goals in 46 appearances in his first season with the club.

Great things also come to an end and it is time to move on after two fantastic seasons with Manchester United. Thank you to the club, the fans, the team, the coach, the staff and everybody who shared with me this part of my history. #foreverred

Zlatan picked a knee injury in the Europa League clash against Anderlecht. The injury kept the ‘god’ out for the rest of that season.

The 36-year-old signed another one year contract with United after recovering from his injury but struggled to regain his form and missed consecutive games in 2018.

The Old Trafford dressing room took time to send him congratulatory messages through the social media:

United shot stopper David De Gea took it on Instagram to wish Zlatan well.

Marcus Rashford was also proud of learning from Zlatan.

?Helped me become a better player for years to come @iamzlatanibrahimovic all the best ??
