Manchester United star Antony Martial could be one of the happiest men in the Red Devils squad, if the announcement by her girlfriend Melanie Da Cruz on her Instagram page is anything to go by.

Melanie Da Cruz posted about her pregnancy and went as far as revealing the sex of her unborn baby.

Cruz posted: “It’s a boy.” She went followed this with a harsh tag explaining that she is 4 weeks pregnant. She followed this with another congratulatory post where she congratulated the French star on the development.

“Congratulation my love.” Cruz added while accompanying the post with a picture of her and Martial.

This came after UK media outlet The Sun had broken the news about Martial’s girlfriend, who is 25 year old and her pregnancy.

However, the sun was under fire for using unkind words which critics perceived as demeaning to the duo.

An extract of the article from the sun on the subject reads:

“Man United love rat Anthony Martial is to be a dad for a second time, with his new girlfriend expecting a son.

Martial, 22, caused heartache for his ex partner after ditching her and their baby for French reality TV star Melanie, 25.

Model Samantha branded Melanie a “prostitute and marriage wrecker” after her relationship fell apart.”

Martial played for 13 minutes against Huddersfield when Man United bounced back with a 2-0 premier league win at Old Trafford.

The former Monaco man has been on good form scoring goals and helping the attack of the Red Devils in the current campaign. He is poised to meet a stiff competition after the completion of former Arsenal star Alexis Sanchez to Old Trafford. Other stars such as Marcus Rashford, Jesse Lingard and even Juan Mata will also be battling for the spot in the attack.
