Kenyan national team Harambee Stars will enter their second campaign with their tie against Libya at Machakos Stadium this afternoon, as Rwanda fights to bounce back against Zanzibar following a disappointing start against Stars.

Paul Put’s men commenced their campaign with a 2-0 rout against the Amavubi, Rwanda, after Kariobangi Sharks hitman Masoud Juma hit the net from the penalty spot before Otieno Duncan doubled the lead with a long range spear shot.

Stars having bagged 3 points will be hunting for their second win in the group stage against Libya who earned a barren draw Zanzibar on Sunday.

However, Paul Put’s squad is facing an injury doubt after Masoud Juma was elbowed and stretchered off on the opening match against Rwanda. Kenya will be relying on other forwards such as Nakumatt Fc striker Kepha Aswani, Gor Mahia forward George Odhiambo and AFC Leopards Vincent Oburu.

In another match, Rwanda will take on Zanzibar, who already have a point after playing a goalless draw against Mediterranean Knights, Libya. However, Rwanda will miss the services of Kayumba Soter who was sent off in their opener against Kenya at the Bukhungu Stadium in Kakamega on Sunday.
