Karate: Menengai Club wins Rift tournament

Menengai Karate Club got 15 winners' medals in the annual Rift Valley Invitational Karate Championships at Menengai Social Hall in Nakuru on Sunday.

Sky Life were runners-up with 12 medals ahead of Whizkid Academy, who had five. Zoom Zom had four while Moi University, Egerton and Mt Kenya had one medal each.

Unity Karate Club and Technical University got no medals in the one-day event that attracted 10 teams.
