You're obsessed with 'Baba', NASA fans scold Mutahi Ngunyi after he accuses Raila of using Safaricom line

Controversial political analyst Mutahi Ngunyi had his say during the dramatic welcome that National Super Alliance (NASA) leader Raila Odinga received. Raila went on a trip to London and the US to seek electoral reforms for ten days. This came after he was defeated by President Uhuru in the October 26 repeat poll. He was expected back in the country on November 17 and thousands of NASA supporters went to receive him at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA). Despite an earlier warning by the government against flocking to the airport, supporters engaged the police in a tussle as they tried to get in. The tussle continued for abetter pat of the day as Raila’s convoy moved from the airport towards Upper hill. All these while, supporters did not leave his side. The grand welcome Raila received did not sit well with some people with many blaming the supporters for causing distraction and engaging police in unnecessary battles. It is at the height of the welcome march that Mutahi chose to accuse Raila of being a liar. In his tweet, he accused him of using his Safaricom line despite the ongoing product boycott. NASA, currently National Resistance Movement (NRM) asked supporters to boycott products from Telecommunications big company Safaricom, Bidco Oil Refineries and Brookside Dairies on November 3. VIOLENCE is Raila's Currency of POLITICAL Transaction. His other CURRENCY is Political LIES. I called him TODAY and his Safaricom line is STILL active! Others reminded him that being open doesn’t mean Raila’s line is conducting any transactions. Simple reasoning, you just need to switch to Airtel without changing the number. Don’t call him, try an mpesa transaction.
