Manchester united superstars slapped with fine tickets at Herrera’s bash

• David De Gea was the only United player to escape without a fine

Manchester United stars Ander Herrera, Juan Mata and Marcos Rojo all picked up parking tickets whilst out at a birthday bash.

Herrera was celebrating his 28th birthday at the Tapeo and Wine restaurant in the Deansgate area of Manchester.

David De Gea was the only United player to escape without a fine due to his late arrival.

Given the United stars' six-figure weekly wages, the tickets merely served as an expensive pay and display ticket.

The players' expensive vehicles on display included Herrera's white Mercedes 4x4, with Mata owning the burgundy version and De Gea a grey model, with Rojo's black Cadillac Escalade.

The Spanish-speaking contingent enjoyed tapas to celebrate the Red Devils' 4-0 win over West Ham the day before to start the season top of the Premier League.
