A Jubilee campaign caravan has sent a stern warning to their supporters that unless they turn up massively and cast their votes as a block come August 8th, the out-come is bound to tilt heavily in favour of their competitors.

They told their supporters in Tharaka Nithi County that the election should no longer be considered as being 'business as usual', but rather a 'do or die situation' where all votes count, for the incumbent duo to prevail.

The 15 MPs who lost during the Jubilee Party nominations sounded the caution, targeting specifically supporters within the Mt Kenya region.

“We are passionately imploring you to rise up early and vote, man to man, during the voting day to enable our development conscious President and his deputy achieve a decisive victory that cannot be subjected to court disputes and processes as has become common with our competitors."

Immediate Othaya Mp, Mary Wambui who spoke to on behalf of the Team at Ciakariga Market, Tharaka took a swipe at the Raila Odinga led Opposition Coalition for their ceaseless obsession with Court litigations even on matters that add little value to their campaigns.

"This time round, they have gone to Court on matters of the roles of defence forces forgetting the fact that the prime role of our security forces, be they the Army, Police or any other security agents is to safeguard peace and harmony for the Kenyan citizens," she said.
