Manchester City are facing the threat of a transfer ban over their pursuit of French sensation Kylian Mbappe.
Fuming Monaco announced they are ready to report “important European clubs” to FIFA for trying to tap up teenage wonder-kid Mbappe who is valued in excess of a £120million.
Mbappe, 18, burst onto the scene last season and although his exploits sparked a scramble for his signature it is the approaches of City and PSG that have angered Monaco who they feel have overstepped the mark.
Mirror Sport understands the French champions believe they can prove that both City and PSG have met the player.
However, City are confident they have not breached any transfer regulations with Monaco and want to maintain a positive relationship with the French club, having already done business with them this summer with the deal to sign Bernardo Silva.
