SGR train experiences unscheduled stop in Kibwezi

NAIROBI, KENYA: Kenya Railways has apologized to commutters after SGR train from Mombasa to Nairobi experienced unscheduled 1 hour stop at Kibwezi.

The firm in one of its tweets regreted the situation but assured passengers  committment to continually provide efficient and reliable service.

“Passengers aboard E1 train from Mombasa to Nairobi today experienced unscheduled 1 hour stop at Kibwezi during the journey,” reads a tweet from the firm. “We apologize for the inconvenience caused.”

President Uhuru Kenyatta launched the multi-billion-shilling Standard Gauge Railway mid this year in a ceremony graced by his deputy William Ruto and senior Chinese government officials.
