Governor Peter Munya at the weekend launched his re-election bid with three rallies in the county's three regions.
Munya held rallies at his home market of Muthara in Tigania East, Nkubu in South Imenti, and Maili Tatu in Igembe. Mr Munya said he was confident of being re-elected by an overwhelming majority. Police cleared roads after they were blocked near Nkubu hours before his rally.
