Mudavadi: Jubilee is asking parastatal heads to spare resources to finance their campaigns

ANC party leader Musalia Mudavadi has accused the government of asking parastatal heads to obtain resources that help Jubilee party’s presidential campaigns.

The NASA principal said government agency board chairpersons and directors had been asked to spare money for the August polls and warned the appointees not to heed the plea.

Mr Mudavadi while speaking in Bomet County’s Madaraka day said they will demand for accountability once they rise to power urging the public entity heads not to misuse public resources.

Bomet governor Isaac Rutto after being cleared said they Jubilee government was riding on the opposition’s pledge to give free secondary education pointing out that their failure to issue class one pupils with laptops as had been promised is full prove they will not keep the promise.

“Jubilee heard of our pledge of giving free education and they chose to carry it to their campaigns. Have you seen the laptops they promised? That is prove enough that they will not deliver what they promise,” he said.

Rutto said his county residents had moved to support the opposition assuring their presidential race contender of support in the August elections.
