Kenyan international defender Brian Mandela has signed a two-year contract extension with Premier Soccer League (PSL) side Maritzburg United.

Mandela, a former Tusker player will now be at the club until 2019. He joined the club two years ago from Santos where he worked under current Harambee Stars assistant coach Musa Otieno. Mandela’s club finished seventh on the PSL standings after picking 37 points.

He is one of the two Kenyan players in PSL. The other Kenyan is former Chemelil Sugar player Joseph Okumu. [Gilbert Wandera]
