KCB Group was declared the Best Bank in product marketing and the Best Bank in mobile banking during the 2017 Think Business Banking Awards. The bank was also declared the 1st runners up in five other categories during the ceremony that was held at the Radisson Blu Hotel in Nairobi’s Upper hill.

KCB Bank was awarded the Best Bank in product marketing after its investment in the youth proposition and the subsequent reception and success it has received with its 2jiajiri initiative. 2jiajiri is a Sh50 billion KCB initiative set to run over the next five years aimed at imparting skills, attitudes and creating jobs that will stimulate national economy and wealth creation among new or young entrepreneurs in all sectors of the economy.

KCB Group Head of Corporate and Regulatory Affairs, Judith Sidi Odhiambo said “it is a distinct honour to receive seven awards within the financial sector. These achievements have fully manifested our continuous commitment to strive for excellence in exceptional customer services and receive social recognition and identity.”
